Agency FAQ: the questions asked before partnering with us

These are the real questions from real partnership conversations, answered the way we answer them by email. If yours is not in this agency FAQ, send it over and we will reply within one business day.

  • Client contact and confidentiality rules
  • Where links come from and where they never do
  • Billing, notice and plan changes
  • What we will not promise, and why

Before you read the answers

Two principles sit under everything below. First, your client relationships are untouchable: we never contact your clients, we sign NDAs on request, and nothing client-facing carries our name. Second, we only sell what genuine outreach can deliver, which means volume commitments we can meet and no promises about rankings or specific publications.

If an answer in this FAQ seems too short, the longer versions live on how it works, partner plans and the margin maths.

Common questions

Straight answers

Will you ever contact my clients directly?

No, never, for any reason. All communication runs through your agency. If one of your clients somehow contacts us, we decline the conversation and tell you it happened.

Where do the links actually come from?

From outreach: our team pitches stories, data and expert commentary to journalists and editors at real publications, and placements carry a link to your client's site inside published content. Authority ranges from DR 40 to 95 across placements.

What will you never use?

Networks of sites built to sell links, bulk marketplace inventory, and anything bought off a rate card rather than earned through a pitch. If a placement would embarrass you in front of a client who checks, it does not happen.

Do you guarantee rankings or specific publications?

No. Anyone doing genuine outreach cannot promise a named publication or a ranking outcome, and we will not pretend otherwise. We commit to volume, quality standards and replacement of any link dropped within 90 days.

How fast do placements start landing?

First placements typically go live inside the first two to three weeks of a new campaign, with the rest arriving progressively across the month rather than in a single batch.

Can reports carry my agency's branding?

Yes. Reports come agency-branded with your logo and name, or fully unbranded if you prefer to use your own template. Nothing in either version identifies us.

Can I present this service as my own team's work?

Yes, that is the point of the model. The partner agreement explicitly allows you to sell and present the work under your brand at whatever price you choose.

How does billing work?

One monthly invoice to your agency, in advance, covering your plan volume across all client campaigns. Prices exclude VAT. You invoice your own clients separately, on your terms.

What if I need to pause or cancel?

Plans run month to month with 30 days notice on either side. Pausing a single client campaign inside your plan is fine; unused volume rolls forward within reason.

Do you work with agencies outside the UK?

Yes, though pricing is in GBP and campaigns target English-language publications. Most partners are UK agencies; several are not.
